Eating disorders represent a group of severe psychiatric conditions with significant morbidity and mortality rates. Despite their impact on individuals' health and well-being, these disorders have often received limited research attention, particularly concerning mortality rates. To address this gap, a recent study conducted in Denmark aimed to evaluate the incidence, prevalence, and mortality rates associated with diagnosed eating disorders, with a specific focus on Anorexia Nervosa (AN).
